New Delhi: Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, whose fast unto death against corruption in the national capital was foiled by the Central government, has once again gird up his loins to launch the second phase of “Bharat Swabhiman Yatra” from Jhansi district in Uttar Pradesh from September 20.

While referring the campaign to be dedicated for economic independence and complete revolution, Ramdev accused the government for conspiring against him.

He said, “We did not violate the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) nor any notice has been served to him or to his wellness Trusts by the Enforcement Directorate“.  He also made it clear that money received by both of his trusts, Divya Yoga Mandir Trust and Patanjali Yogpeeth, from abroad was completely through a legal course.

The yog guru, who seems to have been revitalized in wake of the successful movement of Anna Hazare, also aims to launch a greater movement than Anna avoided making any comment on Hazare’s crusade against corruption.

He, however, said, “the government has deceived Anna earlier also and this time it did not accept his main demands.”

Ramdev, who referred the yatra as anti-black money yatra has not decided the time frame for it, however added, “the yatra will continue throughout the nation till ‘Baba’ is alive.”
“It will be the people's movement that cannot be overthrown by anyone. I have over 10 crore supporters who can do anything to support the cause,” Baba added.

Ramdev said that people who are raising voice against government are being targeted. “Anna who raised the voice was being called ‘corrupt’ and I had to face ‘lathis’ for coming forward against corruption”.

He, however, sarcastically thanked the government for not levying murder and extortion charges like on the Team Anna.
