New Delhi: After the arrest of NSUI president Vardhan Choudhary in the fake marksheet scam of the Ramjas College, NSUI has thrown him out of the party cancelling his membership. Choudhary, who is an ex-student of Ramjas College, is currently facing the investigation.

IB Rani, DCP North Delhi, said, “Many names can be disclosed in the investigation and more arrests will follow.” On the other hand, the marksheets of the second year students of Ramjas College are being examined.

According to sources close to the police, two more non teaching staff of the college are said to be involved in the case. Also, some student leaders can be arrested in this regard.

NSUI’s DU in-charge Mohit Sharma confirmed cancellation of Choudhary’s membership with the students union. Choudhary’s return to the party will depend on the court’s judgment.

Demand for examining records of all the colleges:  DUSU president Ajay Chikara has urged the DU Vice Chancellor Professor Dinesh Singh to conduct verification of enrollment documents of students of all the colleges of the last three years because the gangs are reported to be active in all these colleges of the Delhi University.
