The Jharkhand Chief Minster on Thursday had to face an embarrassing situation while he was delivering a speech welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Modi arrived in the state to inaugurate a project of Power Grid Corporation of India and announce the commencement of work of NTPC's North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (3X660 MW).

The BJP supporters in the rally filled the space with pro-Modi slogans, leaving no space for Soren’s speech, because of which the Chief Minister had to stop for a while and let Modi fans express themselves.

In order to silence the BJP cadre, Soren said, “That the stage has some significance and its sanctity should be maintained.”

Few days back Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was booed at a rally in the state while sharing the dais with Modi.
