New Delhi: Adult film star Sunny Leone has landed herself in soup after she allegedly tweeted a controversial remark on the sensitive rape issue.
Leone tweeted “Rape is not a crime, it is surprise sex.” However when the star found herself in the middle of the raging controversy, she removed all traces of the comment. But it was too late for her as the contentious tweet was later retweeted several times by her followers on the micro-blogging site.
The porn star later turned into damage control mode and tweeted "Whoever has said this rape comment is an idiot. I never said this. Grow up!!!!!!!!!” She even threatened her fans to delete the tweet. "I'm blocking all people who retweeted this comment. So either erase it or you are blocked."
Leone is currently shooting for Ekta Kapoor's Ragini MMS 2. Earlier she worked in Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2 which fell flat at the box office.
