New Delhi:  In order to put a tab on the monopoly of the real estate builders, the government is likely to table Real Estate Regulation Bill in the forthcoming Budget Session of the Parliament. Union Housing and Poverty Alleviation Minister Ajay Maken is making all out efforts to introduce the bill in the coming session.

Builders on Tuesday strongly opposed the bill in a joint meeting with Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath and Housing and Poverty Alleviation Minister Ajay Maken.

The government seems to be adamant and said that the bill, which aims to protect the interests of the common man, will be implemented soon. According to the official sources, instances of duping the average people, who harbour to have their own residence, by the builders came to light which needs to be checked. The Real Estate Regulation Bill will certainly tighten the noose around the builders.
