New Delhi: On the request of National Commission for Backward Classes, the University of Delhi has given one month time to those students who have incomplete documents. They have been asked to submit the complete documents within a month. The University will not give any relief to the students who have no OBC certificates.

DU South Campus Dean Student Welfare, Dinesh Varshney said, “Some students are submitting old OBC certificates. The Colleges are refusing admissions the students who have submitted the OBC certificates issued in 2001.

The department issuing OBC certificates have already made mistakes in spellings. The students hailing from Uttar Pradesh are facing major hurdle as State Administrative Department has issued non-creamy layer certificates mentioning income of family as Rs 5 lakh, while the Central University has fixed Rs 4.5 lakh as its criteria.
