New Delhi: The banned terrorist group Babbar Khalsa is now targeting renowned religious gurus to meet their demands. Arrested from Indira Gandhi International Airport member of the terrorist group Narender Singh told the police that religious gurus like Dera Sacha Sauda’s Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim (Sirsa), Baba Pyare Singh Panehar wale and Baba Ashutosh are their new targets.

On Wednesday Police recovered two pistols, four magazine and 50 live cartridges from Narender’s residence in Jalandhar. Two CDs containing objectionable content were also found.

Narendra who presently resides in Spain was on his way to Jalandhar to meet Hardevinder Singh, a member of the Babbar Khalsa outfit when he was arrested by the police from the IGI airport.

Notably, Narender joined hands with Babbar Khalsa in the year 2000. He was sent to Punjab to extend financial help to the families of the killed terrorists.  In November 2011, along with Hardevinder Singh he went to Pakistan to meet the chief of Babbar Khalsa Wadhwa Singh in Lahore where he was given training in weapon usages.
