The iPad mini with Retina display is a compact version of the bigger iPad with similar features and functioning which adds to the user’s delight. Both the iPads are practically the same with iPad mini merely being a ‘mini’ version of the other.

The new iPad mini is, however, just a few millimeters thicker and 23g heavier than its predecessor to accommodate the larger battery. To the consumers’ displeasure, the new iPads are far from being defined as cheap and affordable.

While the 32 GB iPad mini with Retina display will be available for Rs 28,900, its corresponding iPad Air model will come with a price tag of Rs 35,900 from December 7 onwards.

The company has not announced the prices of the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants of iPad Air as of now. The iPad Air features 9.7-inch Retina display in a new thinner and lighter design. It weighs 453 grams and is 20 percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than the fourth generation iPad.
