Saharanpur: In a measure to settle political score in the wake of Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, BJP president Nitin Gadkari on Thursday while launching ‘Bhajpa Lao Pradesh Bachao’ campaign said that time has come for a decisive battle against corruption where we need to look beyond caste and religion.

“UP is a rich state, but it is sad that the people are poor as the state government spends more fund on setting statues than developing infrastructure. Law and order situation is also grim,” said Gadkari.

Targeting the SP he said, “Mulayam Singh is doing politics on caste and communalism and his party is full of goons.”

Pulling up the Congress, he said, “The country has been doomed with wrong economic policies and rampant corruption.”

“It’s absolutely false that we are against Muslims, APJ Abdul Kalam became President in our governance,” Gadkari added.
