The scarf was jointly released by ASSOCHAM Ladies League (ALL) and JW Marriott on Friday.

"The aim of this Solidarity Scarf is to become a visible public symbol of self-esteem, sisterhood and strength among women of all ages of all countries," Beri said in a statement.

"The Solidarity Scarf is launched to mark the celebration of International Women's Day and show love, respect and appreciation towards women and their achievements in economic, political and social spheres," she added.

Harbeen Arora, global chairperson of ALL, congratulated everyone associated with the initiative and said that ALL will promote this public symbol of Solidarity Scarf globally "so that a billion women's voices can be amplified and heard across borders".
