Lucknow: With assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh a year away, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) on Wednesday held a meeting of the newly-constituted front of small parties and named it Lok Kranti Morcha.

"Lok Kranti Morcha will fight to provide clean and corruption free administration in the state," RLD spokesman Anil Dubey said.

RLD national president Ajit Singh was elected Chairman of the Morcha, and Peace Party President Ayub its Secretary General.

A number of small parties including Peace Party, Udit Raj's Indian Justice party, Bhartiya Samaj Party, Akhil Bhartiya Pichda Varg Sangh, Itthad-e-Millat Council and Janwati Party have formed a front with RLD last month, to fight the 2012 Assembly elections jointly.
