Greater Noida: Priyanka Gandhi’s husband and Businessman Robert Vadra is adamant on his decision of trying his fate in politics. Robert Vadra during Craft fair in Expo Mart in Greater Noida on Wednesday said that if people desire and give their blessings, he would definitely think of entering into politics. Right now his entire focus is on business, as he originally belongs to a business family and this is his first duty and goal.

Robert laughed off the question regarding Priyanka’s entry into electoral politics. “It all depends on people’s affection and their well wishes. The Uttar Pradesh politics is important for the Country. Rahul is trying his best to change the face of Uttar Pradesh. His dedication in elections will yield positive results. People want to see and hear both Rahul and Priyanka. Of course, their work will bring positive results” he said.

While answering a question Robert said “I would like to clarify that the contribution in Amethi election campaign was not political ambition but it was my duty. Being Priyanka’s husband I am also an important member of Gandhi family. So, this was my duty to participate in election campaign. In near future, I will always be there to help them where ever they require. Regarding his bike rally obstruction with a smile he said that: yes, I was stopped but not forced. No one is above the law. The incident has made no difference to me.”

Before talking to the reporters, Robert Vadra and Commerce Secretary Rahul Khullar jointly inaugurated the Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair. During the inauguration, Robert gave information concerning their company stalls. He added that Indian handicrafts market is expanding globally.
