Although the star couple has not confirmed the news yet, sources close to the family have said that Federer’s pregnant wife Mirka is due in July and is expecting twins.

“Mirka and I are very happy to share the news that Myla & Charlene will be big sisters in 2014! Happy Holidays,” the 17-time Grand Slam champion had tweeted last year.

Federer’s elder sister Diana, who topped the Forbes magazine's list of world's highest paid tennis players with earnings worth Euro 43 million in just one year, also has twins.

Federer is currently participating in the PNB Paribas Open and has reached the quarter-finals at the Indian Wells. Federer is currently ranked number 8 in the world.
