New Delhi: With gigantic mirrors placed strategically on the ramp and models sashaying in striking futuristic designs, designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna on Wednesday night brought the curtain down on the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring/Summer 2012.
   
They presented their futuristic collection titled 'The Theatre of Illusions' which highlighted mainly the amalgamation of various designs and elegant showmanship.
    
"Our collection incorporated intricate elements of designs and fabrics with embellishments depicting the powerful femininity of the powerful Indian women. Our collection is quintessentially modern and represents our own style," Rohit said.
    
As audience expected the Bollywood presence in the finale, the designer chose to keep the show collection-centric and rather began the grand finale with the contemporary dance sequence by Aneesha Dala.
   
The life-size projectors were fitted on either sides of the ramp that illustrated the labour of love and models walking down the ramp in striking futuristic designs.
   
Similar to the Gothic fashion, the collection saw usage of mostly black and grey colour palate. The fabrics used in the collection are silks, tulles and nets.
