"I had to undergo a mental metamorphosis of sorts as this character is nothing like me in real life or even like the characters I've played in television or movies," Rohit said in a statement.

A popular actor since over two decades, Rohit has also featured in movies like 'Shootout at Lokhandwala', 'Dus Kahaniyaan' and 'LOC Kargil'.

The light-hearted show 'Peterson Hill', which airs on Sab TV, is inspired by a quaint little picturesque railway station in a small town of Shimla and revolves around the lives of its simple people and the family of the station master, who manages that place.
Rohit, 46, who plays the friendly station master, said he was bowled over by the story when he heard the narration.
