New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Tuesday criticised Home Secretary R K Singh for his comment that at least 10 people allegedly involved in terror attacks had links with it, saying he had shown "undue haste" in coming to the rescue of his political masters.

RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav said they were now examining the legal options present before them.
"The Home Secretary's statement this evening...he showed undue haste in coming to the rescue of his political masters which is unbecoming of any bureaucrat in this country," Madhav said.
Madhav said the Sangh took strong exception to Singh's remark that these people were involved in terror cases, as probe was still going on and these cases was yet to go before the court.
"To link all those people with the RSS is another big lie that he is trying to perpetuate through his statement and we are strongly condemning his statement on this purported link," Madhav said.
The RSS spokesperson said that if the Home Secretary could list the name of people in five cases, he should also release list of all people who were involved in all the cases of communal riots and bomb blasts.
"The Home Secretary has openly come out on Tuesday trying to influence the investigations. We will now consider legal options to take up this matter now. We will take recourse to legal action against the Home Secretary," he added.
"To link RSS with these cases is a deliberate political move. We can understand politicians doing it, but we cannot understand the home secretary of the country coming out and doing this. I don't know what is the motivation," Madhav said.
