New Delhi: The top ideologue of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will meet on Wednesday to stimulate the Hindutva agenda in order to shift the focus back on the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

More importantly, the top brass of the RSS and the VHP is even expected to set a deadline for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.  VHP has also distributed pamphlets on the Ram temple at the mass holy congregation at Maha Kumbh.

Moreover, the Hindu organisations will also chalk out a strategy for the 2014 General Elections. The meet will be attended by top RSS functionaries as well as by the BJP leaders, including new party president Rajnath Singh.

However, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will visit Allahabad on February 12. The saints associated with Vishwa Hindu Parishad have also convened a meeting on February 7 in Allahabad in order to mobilise support for projecting Modi as the next Prime Ministerial candidate.

The saints are of the view that Hindu religion and culture can be protected only under the leadership of Narendra Modi.  A major section of Hindu saints have in fact asked RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to back Modi as BJP’s Prime ministerial candidate.
