New Delhi: Sachin Tendulkar, who has quit One-Day International (ODI) cricket, scored an unbeaten 140 for Ranji champions Mumbai against Rest of India on the fourth day's play in Irani Cup.

His innings was certainly an aggressive one as the legend faced just 197 balls to reach this milestone. The little master displayed some excellent cricketing shots and smashed 20 boundaries including two massive six.

It was a complete entertainment for spectators until a 39-year stood between the wickets.
The senior India batsman also equalled Sunil Gavaskar's record number of first class hundreds by cracking a superb century against Rest of India.
It was also a morale-boosting innings for Sachin before the much-awaited Test series against Australia. India will take on the Australians in a four-Test series starting February 22 in Chennai.
