Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film was initially slated to release on October 2 last year, but as the date was booked for big releases like 'Haider' and 'Bang Bang' the scheduled had been postponed to April 2015.

The buzz states that the dates of film have been pushed as the makers feel that 'Phantom' is similar to recently released 'Baby'.

Helmed by Neeraj Pandey, 'Baby' is story based on a secret operation to save the nation from terrorists. While, Kabir Khan's Phantom is about 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai and terrorism in world.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar starrer 'Baby' continues to dominate Box Office. The film has raked over Rs 70 crore so far. Among last week's releases, 'Khamoshiyan' is doing better business than 'Hawaizaada' and 'Rahasya' put together.
