Ingredients for Catlana Spinach Salad
1. 10 ml Olive oil
2. 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
3. 50 gms finely chopped onion
4. 15 gms sugar
5. 100 gms spinach
6. 50 gms sliced tomatoes
7. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
8. Salt according to taste
9. 2 slices of water chestnut
10. 1 bread slice weighted around 25 gm
11. 2 Bacon strips
How to make Catlana Spinach Salad?
Step 1: Blanch spinach and drain out the water. Then chop it finely.
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan and fry spinach, bacon and onion for 2 minutes.
Step 3: Add red wine vinegar, salt and Worcestershire sauce. After few minutes take it off from oven.
Step 4: Meanwhile in another pan fry the bread slice till it turns light brown.
Step 5: Serve the dish with fried bread slice, tomatoes and water chestnuts.
