Kofta manji is traditional Indian recipe and is usually made from ground meat. You can even supplement meat with beef or even chicken. They are rolled like small balls and cooked by frying, baking or even steaming. Its gravy, prepared with the blend of spices and herbs makes it unique mutton recipe tastier.
How to make Mutton Kofta ?
Step 1: grind the ginger, garlic and poppy seeds and keep aside.
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan and roast onions.When onions turn golden brown then pour water and stir well.
Step 3: Take another pan put whole spices into the pan, add 1 cup water and cook it for 10 minute on low flame. Now add ginger, garlic and poppy seed paste with onion mixture and again roast it for 2-3 minute. add coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt in it. stir well and then add tomato puree.
Step 4: Meanwhile just beat an egg in a bowl.Now mix up the grind roasted gram, coriander leaf, mutton keema and salt together.
Step 5: just take oil in your palm and make a small meatballs and fry it.Add it with the mixture of onion. Now cook it on low flame for 5 minute. Beat yogurt and mix it. Now keep flame low and again cook it for 45 minute. Now you can serve hot.
