Jaipur: In a major relief to ‘Dabaang’ star Salman Khan, the Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday allowed the actor to go abroad without seeking its permission every time he wants to visit a foreign country.

Hearing Salman’s petition, Justice Sandeep Mehta waived off all the restrictions on him. However, he needs to inform the court about his each visit.

Salman’s lawyer argued that the petitioner is a film actor and needs to frequently visit abroad for the shooting of movies. “Seeking the court’s permission each time becomes too tiresome and time consuming,” he appealed.

While granting bail to Salman in the 1998 case under the Arms Act, Civil Magistrate Kanishtha and Judicial Magistrate of Jodhpur had imposed ban on Salman from moving abroad without court’s permission.

Till now Salman had taken permission to visit foreign countries at least 106 times.
