New Delhi: Speculations were rife that Badshaah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, will replace his bête noir Salman as host in the Bigg Boss season 7 but popular TV channel Colours has put a full stop on such rumours saying that they are still keen to retain B-town’s Dabangg Salman Khan as a host and dost for show.

Salman Khan has hosted the last three seasons of the Colors show with one season along with Sanjay Dutt. The channel’s officials claimed that Big Boss and Salman have become synonymous.

According to the sources, “The 47-year-old superstar Sallu connects with the audience in a style that is uniquely his own. And Bigg Boss is incomplete without Salman’s Midas touch.” The channel official also admitted that the show has benefited immensely from Salman’s presence.

It has further said, “At the same time, Salman too has discovered an added connectivity with the home-viewing audience. His attitude really works for the show, and there is no chance of us letting it go.”

As for now, the channel is determined to stick to Salman Khan as the show host. Sources added that Salman’s replacement would be searched only when if he says no to them. Bigg Boss is slated to air around October this year.
