New Delhi: Though Salman Khan Starrer Ek Tha Tiger is creating waves with its promos and hit songs but all is not well with this film as it has landed in a fresh controversy again. A website reported that Vikram Vashishtha, nephew of real life spy Late Ravindra Kaushik, sent a legal notice to the production company asking for a special screening of this film.

Talking about this issue, Vashishtha told to media reporters that Ravindra Kaushik, his maternal uncle, who was with RAW (Research Analysis Wing), displayed his talent at the national level dramatic meet in Lucknow, which was also witnessed by some officials of the Intelligence Wing. He was then contacted and offered a job for the secret intelligence in Pakistan. Later, he was sent to Pakistan for the purpose.

Vashishtha also added that the promos of "Ek Tha Tiger" is a striking resemblance to his uncle's experiences in Pakistan and hence his family has sought legal assistance to either have a look at the original script or view the film before it releases.

Meanwhile, Madhav Mitra, Vashishtha's counsel claims that the resemblance is on the account that the promos show that ISI (Pakistan agency) and RAW (Indian Agency) indulged in day-to-day war. He also added that the promos reveal that the agent named 'Tiger' worked in Pakistan and had an affair with a Pakistani girl, fought for the country as well as for his love. He reasoned out stating that since Shashi Vashishtha, the mother of his client Vikram is (late) Ravindra's only sister, the family has the full right to either go through the certified screenplay or watch it prior to national and international release.
