Noida:  Arrested from Indore on Sunday the accused in Samjhauta Blast case, Kamal Chouhan has been handed over to National Investigation Agency (NIA). He has been remanded to the NIA’s Noida headquarters.

Taking Chouhan on a transit remand the NIA team reached its Noida headquarters and after informing the civil police made him appear before the phase two Court and took him into remand.

Chouhan was arrested for his alleged role in the Samjhauta express blast case which happened on February 17, 2007.  68 people were killed out of which 48 were Pakistani nationals.

Kamal Chouhan was named by the prime accused in the case Aseemanand.

NIA ACP Vikas Kumar informed the Noida sector 24 police and presented Chouhan before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Vipin Kumar Sharma. The NIA is questioning Kamal in order to nab Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange other two accused in the case.
