New Delhi, Jan 11 (JNN): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday announced cash rewards for the informers on three suspects of the Samjhauta Express bomb blast.

A cash reward of Rs 10 lakh each has been announced for any person providing information leading to the arrest of Sandeep Dange and Ramchandra Kalsangra, whereas for arrest of Ashok, the reward is of Rs 2 lakh.

Sixty-eight people were killed when bombs were set off in two coaches of cross-country Samjhauta Express, running between Delhi and Lahore, around midnight on February 18, 2007 at Diwana near Panipat, 80 km north of Delhi.

According to media reports, Swami Aseemanand has named Sandeep Dange, Ramchandra Kalsangra and Ashok as main conspirators behind the blast in a confession.

Earlier, the NIA had taken the custody of Swami, who is considered as an ideologue of Abhinav Bharat, an organisation alleged to be behind the Malegaon blast in Maharashtra in 2008.

The agency after taking his custody was probing links as to who had supplied the RDX leading to explosion, the sources said.
