The third generation Note features a big and bright 5.7 inch display screen with full HD 1920x1080 pixels resolution and offers sharper and brighter images which enhance user experiences. The utter size of the phablet makes it difficult for a person to operate the device with just one hand. Despite, an entire settings menu is committed to try and make single hand usage easier. In spite of the big screen, the phablet feels slimmer and lighter than Galaxy Note 2.

When it comes to the outer body, this time Samsung has added a faux lather cover in an attempt to mask the plastic look. The phablet also sports a new faux chrome finish which helps the device ditch its previous plastic look.

Note 3 is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 which is a top of the line processor and ensures fast and smooth app loading and no detectable lag within the operating system. Coming to operating systems, Note 3 runs on Android 4.3 customized by Samsung with TouchWiz users interface.
Galaxy Note 3’s standout software features are multi-window and stylus-specific functions.

The device makes use of the popular S Pen stylus, which can be used to create memos, doodle, sketches and take down notes. The stylus also enables the user to select handwriting-to-text option and scribble messages or emails instead of typing.  The multi-window feature offers the user with an option to work on two apps side by side.

Note 3’s battery life runs upto 14 to 15 hours on 3G even after heavy usage. With a few tweaks and changes in battery settings the user can extend its life upto 20 hours!
The phablet fosters a 13-mega-pixel rear camera and a 2 mega-pixel front camera. The rear camera captures detailed and sharp images, though struggles to focus in poor lighting conditions.
