This dual-SIM smartphone is thought to be of the Galaxy Star family and is the second budget smartphone to be launched by Samsung in the past few months. The Galaxy Star Pro has however not yet been listed on the company's official India website.

The phone sports a 4 inch WVGA display with 480×800 pixel resolution. It run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by 1GHz single-core cortex A5 processor. The phone comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal memory which can be extended to 32GB using microSD card .

Galaxy Star Pro features a 2-megapixel rear camera with video feature, though the phone does not house a front facing camera. It comes with a 1500 mAH battery which delivers upto 15 hours talk time and up to 370 hours standby time.

It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity options along with pre loaded apps such as like ChatON, mFluent IM, and ActiveSync.
