New Delhi: The 8 inch tablet of Samsung much awaited Galaxy Tab 3 series is expected to hit Indian market on Thursday. Its 7 inch tab has already been launched in India.

Indian customers will be able to lay their hands only on the 7 and 8 inch models of the Tabs for now, as the 10 inch model is expected to make its way to the country later this year. The new tablets are expected to be more conducive for content viewing.

The new tablet series possess an Intel processor. The deal is considered to be great for the technology giant, as Intel has been trying to find ground in the mobile industry.

These tabs are powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor running Android 4.1 OS with 3MP rear camera and 1.2MP front camera. Camera can record full HD videos. RAM is 1GB and 8GB internal storage. 7 inch screen is with 1024×600 pixel resolution. Battery is 4000 mAh.

The new tablets are designed in a way which is suitable for viewing videos, playing games, reading contents etc. The device also promises to give users better audio experience in comparison to the former tablet versions. Users will also have access to unique reading mode which would support comfortable reading.

The 7 inch tablet is priced at Rs 12,000 and the 8 inch tablet priced at Rs 18,000.
