The smartphone was initially announced in February. Galaxy Core Prime 4G sports a 4.5-inch 480x800p TFT display and features a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording and a 2 MP front shooter.

The Galaxy Core Prime 4G is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM. The device has an 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD card slot.

Core Prime 4G gets its power from a 2,000 mAh removable battery. On connectivity front, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, GPS with AGPS, Wi-Fi and FM Radio.
