The Korean electronic brand has also been ranked as the most trusted brand for 2015 followed by LG which overtook Sony and Nokia, market research agency Trust Research Advisory (TRA), which conducted the study, said in a statement.
The first domestic brand to find a place in the listing is the Tata Group at fourth rank, it added.
American computer major Dell occupies the fifth slot, followed by Honda, Nokia, Hewlett-Packard Bajaj and Godrej.
This year's study covered 1,000 brands from 230 categories and 2,312 consumers from 16 cities, TRA Chief Executive N Chandramouli said, adding that the categories of brands included food and beverages, FMCG, automobiles and apparel.
The list of the brand attractiveness is topped by LIC, followed by Fastrack, Bharat Petroleum, Dove, Pepsi, Dabur and Google.
