According to latest report, the company will launch its pocket-friendly Tizen-based smartphone under the price tag of Rs 6000.

The phone will have 4-inch 800x480 pixel display and 3.2 MP rear camera. The phone will work upon 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and have 4 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card support.

The launching news comes soon after Samsung’s first Tizen powered smartphone was scrapped before its scheduled launch in Russia in July. Samsung later said it wanted to further enhance the ecosystem behind Tizen.

Tizen is Samsung and Intel's co-developed operating system to reduce the former's dependency on Google's Android platform.
