Jammu: Former Indian cricketer Sandeep Patil is geared up to kick-off the BCCI’s four-day talent hunt programme for bowlers in Jammu from February 21.

This is for the first time when world’s richest cricket board, BCCI has organized a two-day selection trial for pacers and spinners.

Jammu-Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) General Secretary Ehsan Ahmed Mirza on Thursday said, “In order to make the future of Indian cricket bright, BCCI has started this campaign throughout the country to search the best talents.”

“Board will be very happy to see the talent among players in our state. The players between 17 to 22 years of age will be participating in this two-day selection trial” he added.

The selected candidates in this trial would get a chance to enhance their bowling at national and international academies.

The participants have to register themselves at JKCA office by February 16.
