Haridwar: The problems seem to be never ending for yoga guru Baba Ramdev and his close aide Acharya Balakrishna. After the latest passport row and re-opening of the probe into the missing of Shankar Dev, Guru of Baba Ramdev, the ‘sant samaj’ has decided to distance itself from the yoga guru and his aide.

The Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), National General Secretary, Mahant Hari Giri, said, “Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna are not linked with the Akhara parishad, they are related to few saints.”

“Anyone against the law or working against it will not be supported”, he added.

The parishad headed by Mahant Balwant Singh has also supported Mahant Gyan Das.
ABAP has maintained that the case filed against Balakrishna is justified.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam, UP president of ABAP said, “On April 29, 2011, the Parishad has submitted the memorandum to President demanding probe against Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishan.”

Acharya Pramod Krishnam has also appealed for CBI investigation into the missing case of Guru Shankar Dev.
