Siliguri: A court in Darjeeling district on Friday remanded Saradha scam accused Sudipta Sen and Debjani Mukherjee to 14 days' judicial custody in the multi-crore ponzi scheme scandal.

Siliguri fast track court judge Madhumita Basu also allowed the police to interrogate Saradha Group chairman Sudipta Sen and his deputy Debjani Mukherjee.

The judge rejected the bail petition of Mukherjee and ordered the jail authorities to check her health regularly as her counsel submitted that she was "not well".

Sen, Mukherjee and another close associate of the former were arrested from Sonmarg in Kashmir on April 23.
