Saurav Ganguly along with his wife Dona, who is a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan, visited the sets of 'Piku' to meet the superstar.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog and wrote, “There have been some greats on set today .. the great and legendary Saurav Ganguly, India’s pride on the Cricket field ...”

Clad in a traditional Bengali saree, Dona has reportedly invited Amitabh Bachchan to her home and her dance school Diksha Manjari. The 'Paa' actor has apparently accepted the invitation.  

Amitabh Bachchan, who spent his earlier days in Kolkata, has enjoyed his stay in the city. He visited almost all the places of the city during the month long shoot of the film here.    

As the schedule of Piku's shoot in Kolkata has wrapped up, Big B said it will be tough to leave the city.

"As the Kolkata schedule closes in to an end, withdrawal symptoms creep in.. Shall be a tough leave.. BUT.. We shall be back!," he Tweeted.

Director Shoojit Sircar also took to Twitter and thanked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the support.

"'PIKU' finishes Kolkata schedule... Grateful to the CM of West Bengal, Mamata di, for her support and warmth... This would not have been possible without her blessings... And to the people of Kolkata, for their love, for making us feel at home... From PIKU team... Dhonobaad!!," Sircar tweeted.

Helmed by Shoojit Sircar, who is known for his successes like 'Madras Cafe' and 'Vicky Donor, 'Piku' also stars Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan, Moushumi Chatterjee and Jishu Sengupta.

'Piku' explores the father and daughter relationship between Bachchan and Padukone's characters

The movie which is slated to release on April 30, 2015, is produced by Ronnie Lahiri.
