New Delhi: Aiming to facilitate Public Sector Units (PSUs) in making decisions on vital issues, the apex body of these units Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) has formed an ‘Ethics Forum’.

‘Ethics Forum’ which is a group of experts in their own fields, will help PSUs in taking decisions in matters where the units fear to be trapped in controversies.

Those included in the ‘Ethics Forum’ include- Metro Man Sreedharan, former Central Vigilance Commissioner Pratyush Sinha, former Vigilance Commissioner Sudhir Kumar, former Corporate Affairs Secretary R Bandyopadhyay, a former Secretary Sujeet Banerjee, NTPC CMD Aroop Rai Choudhary and the SCOPE Chairman.

The experts would think over the related matter extensively and send their suggestions to the PSU Board to let them follow or reject the ideas at their discretion.

SCOPE's Director General, Dr UD Chaubey said, “The forum will help reducing corruption, while PSUs would find it easy in making any decision.”
