Mathura: On her first trip to India, American talk show queen Oprah Winfrey's visit to the holy birthplace of Lord Krishna on Thursday turned ugly when her bodyguards were involved in a scuffle with journalists.

Three Indian bodyguards were arrested following the incident in which some video cameras were allegedly broken following a complaint filed by media personnel covering Winfrey's visit. No one was injured in the incident, police said.
The bodyguards were later released after they wrote a letter of apology to the media, police said.
Two American security men and a dozen bodyguards from India were part of Winfrey's entourage when it reached Vrindavan. She is in India in connection with a shoot for her new show 'Next Chapter'.
Earlier in the morning, she filmed a documentary on widows and also took part in a 'bhajan' at the ashram situated in Patthar Pura.
