Nagpur: A total of 715 cases were settled during the one-day National Lok Adalat with recovery value amounting at Rs 6.96 crore. The adalat that was organised by District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) here recently, settled Cheque bounce cases of Rs 60.77 lakh, Secretary, DLSA, KD Jadhav said.

Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched National Handloom Day to boost handloom sector in the country. Earlier, he was received at the airport by Governor K Rosaiah and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, among others. Jayalalithaa presented the Prime Minister with a bouquet on his arrival. This is the Prime Minister's first visit to the Tamil Nadu capital since he assumed office.
