Patna: Allaying fears regarding its stand on Article 370, which guarantees a special constitutional status to Jammu and Kashmir, BJP on Monday said "status quo on it will be maintained". "The status quo on Article 370 will be maintained. .... This is a constitutional matter and any kind of change in it cannot be brought in the Parliament," BJP's national spokesperson M J Akbar told reporters here.

Jammu: The BJP on Sunday said that the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution continues to be part of the party's core ideology and it will work in that direction whenever it garners the required numbers in Parliament.

New York: Social networking giant Twitter is in talks to buy article-sharing app Flipboard, the media reported. Twitter could pay more than USD1 billion in stocks to make the acquisition. California-based Flipboard was launched in 2010 and the company has raised more than USD160 million with backing from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Index Ventures, Insight Venture Partners and Rizvi Traverse Management.

Jammu: Former Chief Minister and NC (National Conference) leader Omar Abdullah on Wednesday asserted that Article 370 of the Constitution cannot be scrapped and the special status accorded to Jammu and Kashmir cannot be eroded further.
