New Delhi: Indian woman boxer L Sarita Devi was on Wednesday handed a one-year ban by the International Boxing Association (AIBA) for refusing to accept her bronze medal at the Asian Games but the punishment is unlikely to hurt her career too badly as she would be allowed to compete in the 2016 Olympic qualifiers.

New Delhi: In a rare surgery, doctors at a city hospital implanted pacemaker on a 102-year-old woman from Panipat. This is the first ever reported case of implant on a woman aged 102 years in India, claimed the hospital adding that the surgery was performed in a record time of less than 20 minutes.
