New Delhi: Sixty-five year old Subhasini Devi was born to a poor farmer couple in West Bengal. She was married at an early age of 12. Subhasini Devi's destiny put her in difficulty and left her in deep grief when she lost her husband at the age of 23 due to lack of adequate medical treatment. The incident prompted her to build a hospital for poor patients. The hospital is situated at Kalagachia Road, Hanspukur, Joka, Kolkata, West Bengal.
