London: Scientists, including one of Indian-origin, have successfully grown new blood vessels in two young children from just two tablespoons of blood in a flat seven days. The vein that goes from the gastrointestinal tract to the liver was missing in the children and the novel transplants were performed in 2012 at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
