New Delhi: Three Indians, including WBC Asian title-holder Neeraj Goyat, have registered for the International Boxing Association's (AIBA) Olympic Qualifying tournament for professional boxers scheduled to be held in Venezuela from July 3 to 8.

New Delhi: The government has written to AIBA to revoke the suspension of boxer Sarita Devi, Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said on Wednesday. Sonowal, who along with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar were among many who had shown strong support for Sarita, said the government was pursuing the issue.

New Delhi: Pleading with the International Boxing Association to revoke the suspension imposed on boxer L Sarita Devi, Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has written a letter to AIBA President Dr Ching Kuo Wu requesting him to take a sympathetic view given her humble background.
