New Delhi: The Supreme Court today refused to stay the observations of the Delhi High Court, which had termed as "suspect" the recent Centre's notification clipping powers of the AAP government, saying they were "only tentative in nature" without expressing any opinion on its validity.

New Delhi:  The Delhi High Court today sought response of 16 policemen acquitted of murder charges and other crimes by a trial court in the 1987 Hashimpura massacre case. A bench of Justices G S Sistani and Sangita Dhingra Sehgal issued notice to cops on the plea of Uttar Pradesh government against the trial court verdict.
