Singapore: The Modi wave has not only taken the country by a storm but is also generating positive reviews outside if early signs are to be believed. When the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its election manifesto on Monday, it made it clear that it won’t permit foreign supermarkets in the country if their prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi takes the PM’s hot seat. However, this is just one cacophonous sound that the manifesto makes; otherwise it’s like a sweet music for the financial markets.
