New Delhi: Incidents of violence were reported from many areas of West Bengal and Assam during the 2nd phase of the assembly polls. According to the reports, one person died while three were injured after locals clashed with CRPF personnel near polling booth number 94 in Barpeta, Assam. Till 3 pm, West Bengal witnessed 71.6 percent voter turnout whereas 69.5 percent voters exercised their franchise in Assam.
