New Delhi: Amid the escalating LG-CM feud, the Centre on Friday backed Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung making it clear that it was not mandatory for him to consult Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on matters like appointment of bureaucrats.
