Altogther 1.47 lakh candidates were on Monday declared as successful in the Bihar Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) out of 26.79 lakh candidates who had written the examination in December 2011 and January 2012, according to the Education Minister P K Shahi.

Agartala: The Central Government responding to Tripura's demand, has given it a one-time exemption from conducting a Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for recruiting 5,000 school teachers, state's Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said on Friday.
