Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is visiting the national capital for the first time after his elevation in the party, on Tuesday met senior party leader Murli Manohar Joshi.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday seemed to be warming up to Janata Dal-United (JD-U), the party which has recently snapped its ties with BJP, by calling Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar secular and saying there are no permanent enemies or permanent friends in politics.
