Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government on Friday claimed that the Centre has not yet released a single rupee for farmers' relief, a day after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh asked the state to immediately distribute among farmers Rs 506 given to it for disaster relief.

Dehradun: Former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshiyari on Friday accused the ruling Congress of "spreading myths" about alleged curtailment of budgetry allocations to Uttarakhand by the Centre, saying in fact there had been an increase of Rs 1,734 crore in the funds to be allocated to the state for the ongoing fiscal.
